Metal — expansive and outward

You arrive with weight and no polish. You decide fast, you say what you mean at the volume you meant it, and you get tougher in exactly the conditions that grind other people down. There is very little pretence in you. People either find this refreshing or find it a lot.
How you land. You make an immediate impression and it is rarely neutral. People find you refreshing or find you a lot, and the split happens in about a minute. What gets misread is intent: you say hard things because they are true and it does not occur to you that the saying was the problem. You are almost never being cruel, which does not much help the person receiving it.
When it gets hard. Under pressure you push. You go straight at the obstacle, harder, and quite often it gives — which has taught you a lesson that is right most of the time and badly wrong occasionally. Situations that need patience or delicacy are where you do damage, usually to relationships rather than to the task. You recover from setbacks fast and you carry the wreckage of how you handled them for longer.
You do your best work when there is real resistance to work against and a clear target to aim at.
