A saju chart has eight characters. This is what it means when the one standing for you — the upper character of the day — is this one.
You see the flaw immediately — in work, in a plan, in a person — and you usually turn out to be right. Your standards are not up for discussion. This makes your work excellent and makes you difficult to live beside, because the same eye is always on.
How you land. People take your judgement seriously, and they are careful around you. You are read as composed and exacting, and as colder than you actually are — the precision comes across before the care does, even when the care is what motivated it. The usual misreading is arrogance. It is rarely that. It is a standard you apply to yourself first and hardest.
When it gets hard. Under pressure you get more exact, not less. You reach for control through detail: tighten the process, check the work, raise the bar. This is often the right response and occasionally the exact wrong one, when the situation needed you to accept something imperfect and move. You are your own harshest critic by a wide margin, and that voice gets louder precisely when you can least afford it.
You do your best work when the standard genuinely matters and the craft is worth being exact about.

- You turn the same exacting eye on yourself, constantly
- You cut people accurately rather than cruelly, which hurts them anyway
- You withhold good enough while waiting for right
